Roll Diameter & Roll Quantities

Customizing Your Label Rolls

We offer several options to tailor the size or quantity of labels on your rolls:

1. Maximum Diameter

If you’re machine-applying labels, you can specify a maximum roll diameter to ensure compatibility with your label applicator.

  • Most machines accommodate rolls up to 8” in diameter, but some can handle 10” or 12” rolls.
  • We can produce rolls up to 13” in diameter, with a standard 3” core.

How to Order:

Select the “Qty on Roll/Roll Diameter” checkbox on the order page, then enter your maximum roll diameter (in inches).

2. Maximum Quantity Per Roll

You can specify a maximum number of labels per roll. While we can’t guarantee an exact quantity, rolls will not exceed your specified maximum.

How to Order:

Select the “Qty on Roll/Roll Diameter” checkbox on the order page, then enter your maximum labels per roll.

3. Fewest Rolls

By default, we produce rolls as efficiently as possible to minimize material waste and labor, which may result in multiple rolls of the same design.

Selecting “Fewest Rolls” allows us to manually splice smaller rolls into larger rolls—ideal for machine application to reduce roll changeovers. Note: This option includes a small additional cost for extra time and materials.

How to Order:

Select the “Produce fewest possible rolls

checkbox on the order page.
